Hello! Our names are Tom and Katie. We were brought together through the passion and love for the sport of baseball. We are on a mission to visit every single MLB field over the next few years. As time progresses, we will be filling out our ratings for each individual sporting event we attend. We hope this knowledge can help others on their own journey.
Please note: We are not professionals and are perfecting our craft at each field we visit. Our rankings may not be in line with typical rankings.
How it Works
As we visit each location we will rate it based on 10 criteria we have in place. The fields/stadiums/arenas will be ranked versus others in the division (ie. MLB fields, MiLB fields, college arenas, NFL fields, ect.)
Criteria:
Overall Score: Out of 100 points (10 points for each criterium)
Aesthetic: The appearance and attractiveness of the stadium as a whole from the playing field to the advertisements.
Atmosphere: The feeling the place leaves on you from the time you enter to the time you leave.
Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the stadium. From the cup holders to the urinal.
Seating Options: The various views that the place has to offer.
Pricing: The affordability of tickets, food, parking, and merchandise.
Fan Involvement: The involvement of fans and their interest in the game. Are they there to watch their team, or just a day field trip?
Food: Taste, Options, Lines, Customer Service, TVs
Mascot: Look, Friendliness, Add to the culture, Involvement
Souvenir Shop: Location, Signage, Merchandise Options
Miscellaneous/Extra Innings: Other notable features of the park.
